Staying at Highland Moors
Highland Moors Guest House in Mid Wales is located in 5 acres of beautiful countryside stunning views of the Brecon Beacons to the South. From the roof there are 360° views, and through all the seasons the landscape dramatically changes.
Bedrooms
There are 12 bedrooms each with an original fireplace– two large family rooms, four kings/doubles, and six twins. Each room has TV, radio alarm, hospitality trays and comfy chairs.
The two family rooms both have ensuites, with a bathroom and a separate shower room. Both rooms are very spacious, and one of them includes a small kitchen area. We can offer cots, baby foods and the little things that make travelling with children easier. We have an adjoining twin room on both ensuites to allow maximum flexibility for you and your children. We can accommodate a family of 6 between the family room and the adjoining twin.
The bay rooms are ideal for couples and located at the front of the house have exceptional views over the surrounding countryside. It is in these rooms that the new ensuites have been built. They are of the highest standard with large glass showers, mosaic tiling and elegant Victorian styling. Every detail has been carefully considered. We are planning four poster beds in these rooms in time.
All the rooms have been tastefully restored using colours and styles to reflect the age and authenticity of the period.
Breakfast
We offer a full cooked English / Welsh breakfast or whatever combination you would like. We use the freshest free range and locally sourced produce. We also offer a full range of healthy breakfast options including a range of cereals, homemade museli, fresh fruit and yogurts. We offer freshly baked bread from local bakery. We offer a range of hot and cold drinks. If you would like vegetarian or vegan options or any other preferences, please let us know at the time of booking. We cater for children by offering a range of cereals and yogurts they would enjoy. We always stock organic food for babies available for your convenience.
Evening Meals
We offer evening meals for all group bookings. All meals are homemade using the freshest local produce.
